By now you would have heard about the ferry disaster that has hit Tanzania. If not it’s believed that this ferry overturned due to it being overloaded and when crowds of people on board moved to one side of the ferry as it docked it rolled and capsized.

It’s said that at least 207 people have died in the overturning and scuba divers have come to the lake to help find any survivors and of course to retrieve bodies of the dead. At least 40 people so far have thought to have survived this terrible ordeal but even these survivors are in critical condition and one of the luckiest is engineer Alphonce Chara-hani who sealed himself inside a small room and had to stay there for two days until the rescue divers reached him and got him out but he is said to be in serious condition.
