2018Sept28 Scuba Diving & Spearfishing Oil Rigs VK340 & MP256 on the Sea Sharp

These were my 2 dives on Platforms VK340 and MP256 while out fishing on the Sea Sharp, a 31' Prowler Catamaran out of Mississippi. Keith Elder and Josh Kittrell invited me out with them and we had a great day of fishing. See that topside video posted previously. We caught a mess of Mahi Mahi and Amberjack. I poked an Amberjack on VK340 in 135 feet of water that pulled off but recovered with a Scamp and a smaller Amberjack. The dive on MP256 in 350 feet of water yielded no fish as I passed up a Black Jack and some smaller Almaco Jacks hoping for something bigger. The dive was crystal blue beautiful though and I got to see some nice tropicals. I hope you enjoy the video.
