Shooting hundreds of digital pictures a day is normal for todays divers. Alec has 4 vintage cameras from the 1950's to 1980's, from home-make housings to 8mm movie cameras and how difficult it was to prevent flooding.

- 1980's Fujica Single-8 P2 8mm film camera with Marine-8 housing to 30 meters (99 ft), 18 fps
- mid 1950's "Aqua-Cam" camera (not a housing) + flash bulb, 120 film + schrader pressure valve
- mid 1960's Kodak "Instamatic 154" in a home made plastic housing with schrader valve, flash cube, 126 film cartridge, $30 USD in 1965
- home made metal camera (not a housing), 18 wing nut screws to seal the top cover plates flat rubber gasket, 35mm film
