Owning vintage gear requires special care to keep it in good condition and maybe dive with. Alec has a 60 year old rubber flashlight to preserve and shows how to keep it looking great for many more years.

*** In this episode of Vintage Scuba ***
- a late 1950's Voit FL3 (3 cells) flashlight needing preservation, $4.50 new
- was blue, now aged to green with some cracking
- separate all components for individual cleaning
- what to use on rubber, metal or plastic, what not to use
- never leave batteries in any flashlight for long
- wrap in a 4mil thick zip-loc bag for long term storage
