In episode 17, the students of A Rising Tide have their last scuba dives in the Florida Keys with a couple special guests from the National Marine Sanctuary.
Marlies Tumolo and Matt Lawrence speak at lunch about ocean conservation and shipwrecks.

The kids get the afternoon to wind down with belly-flop contests (is that winding down?)

And then they're back to Colorado, sun-tanned and full of stories.

This is a documentary series about Colorado students on a scuba diving and marine science adventure of a lifetime.

3 students were awarded a full scholarship to get their open water scuba certification, a full set of dive gear including wetsuit, fins, mask and snorkel, and a BCD, and a marine science education. Plus, they will be flown to the Florida Keys in June to finalize their training.

Throughout the show, the students will be learning from leading marine scientists and embarking on special thought-provoking expeditions.
