Mohammad Firdaus Jasni’s was in the waters off Pilau Sebark, which is an island south of Sentosa. He was installing brackets underwater onto a concrete pile with seven other commercial divers when sadly a concrete pile struck him. It’s believed that he pushed a fellow diver out of the way of the pile and it then struck him.

Police, of course, was called to the scene but they only way to free Mohammad was to use a crane to lift the fallen structure off of him. They quickly rushed him to the hospital where sadly he died from his injuries later on. Mohammad had only been a commercial diver for the past two years and recently had started work on this new project.
