This is my 3rd dive, I had a CO2 buildup at 100ft which caused me to shallow hyperventilate, so I made a emergency ascent to the surface, causing my lungs to expand and throw up basically nitrogen upon surfacing. Later Symptoms included a minor headache, Dizziness, Muscle cramps, Chest pain and Ringing in the ears.
Don't ascend too quickly. I should have ascended a bit and re assessed my breathing by exhaling the CO2 from my lungs a couple times. Hopefully I respond better than I did this dive, if there is a next time it happens (Hope not). Regardless the emergency ascent was uncomfortable, but likely saved my life.
