Bethany Farrell took the waters at the Great Barrier Reef for her first ever dive, sadly she became separated from her instructor, Bethany was found an hour later by her instructor lying on the seabed at Blue Pearl Bay.

Well, the inquest has now started and there seems even before her first dive there were red flags. Even before Bethany went into the water she was having difficulty with her equipment, when they went into the water they only had vis between a meter and three meters, normally at this popular diving spot you can see for about 50 meters… so yeah that’s a big difference.
