Some of Bermuda's most stunning and impressive views are completely overlooked by visitors and locals alike simply because they lie beneath the ocean's surface. But through this half-day, internationally recognized PADI Discover Scuba Course, first-time divers can experience the magic of diving in a safe, supervised and confidence-building environment. After being shuttled to a 5-Star PADI Dive Center, you'll begin your course with a comprehensive introductory lesson in which your PADI-certified instructor will teach you the fundamentals of diving. Following this orientation, you'll apply the concepts you've learned in an in-water skills review session, and subsequently your instructor will take you on a guided, shallow-water dive on a vibrant coral reef to a depth not exceeding 25 feet. Note: No prior snorkeling or diving experience required; however, basic swimming skills are essential. Participants must be at least 10 years of age. Persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Maximum weight is 350 lbs. Due to restrictions by the dive provider, participants currently taking any medication or with a previous medical condition should bring a note from their primary physician stating that they are medically cleared to participate on this excursion.
