Scuba diving Vortex Spring in Ponce de Leon, Florida. Vortex Spring is a freshwater spring located in Ponce de Leon in the Florida panhandle. The dive site has a rich history and is the birthplace of the red and white "Diver Down" flag. For certified cave divers, there is a cave system at Vortex that you can explore. The dives in this video only go as far as the back of the large cavern where the cave begins.
