Scuba diving with Manta Rays - Wicked Diving

On 9th December 2016 I went on a live aboard boat for 3 days with Wicked Diving from Labuan Bajo in Flores Island, Indonesia. I had heard that Komodo National Park is one of the top dive spots in the world, but I never expected to come so close to Manta Rays.

This video was my eighth scuba dive in a three day period at Mawan dive site. When we got in the water we saw at least ten mantas. I love the way they glide so easily in the water. Perhaps you can't get a true idea of how big they really are from this video, Mantas can get up to 8m in diameter - pretty impressive view from below!
