This short video from Bali Scuba shows the highlights of diving in Sanur (Bali, Indonesia).
In the video you can see a wide variety of the marine life found in Sanur including the resident school of Batfish (and you’ll often see cute juvenile Batfish there too), Trumpetfish, Sweetlips, Pufferfish a big Moray Eel, Lionfish, and Clownfish - made famous by the movie, “Finding Nemo”. Swim a bit further out and White Tip Reef sharks are very commonly seen.
You can also see the wide variety of soft and hard corals in Sanur.
Sanur is a great dive site if you’re time-challenged. You can take two dives and be back in your hotel by lunchtime. It’s a much more convenient dive site to visit than many of the other sites around Bali.
Sanur is suitable for all levels of diver and we often use it to conduct the first two dives of the PADI Open Water course: http://www.baliscuba.com/learn-to-dive-in-bali-padi-open-water-diver-course/
Sanur is also a great dive site if you have never tried diving before and don’t have time to take a course. You can dive Sanur on a half-day Discover Scuba experience: http://www.baliscuba.com/padi-discover-scuba-in-bali-beginner-try-dive/
