The best dive location at Lake Tahoe is Sand Harbor Beach, California. The water temperature at 40ft in April, (theoretical) was 46 degrees. My 5ml wetsuits - NOT enough! I wish I had at least a 7ml for this dive.
Scuba Diving Lake Tahoe is one of the best locations on the west coast. The visibility is around 100'. Tahoe has the cleanest, bluest and best-kept water in the country. It's truly God's land. Visit Lake Tahoe and check out how blue it is for yourself. Lake Tahoe is breathtaking. South Lake Tahoe in California has some nice beaches, however, the best for scuba diving is Sand Harbor.
