Scuba Diving in Surin Islands & Richelieu Rock, Thailand

For the second time this year, I went diving in the Similan Islands. For 5 days and 5 nights, we traversed the Andaman Sea on the M/V Similan Explorer, doing nothing but eating, sleeping and diving.

The first day and a half of this liveaboard trip were spent in the Surin Islands and Richelieu Rock. It was a full moon trip so currents were a little tricky and visibility wasn't the best, but diving there is always awesome. We saw loads of sweetlips, barracuda and also managed to catch a glimpse of a seahorse!

Dive sites we visited: Koh Chi, Torinla, Surin South, Ao Paka, Richelieu Rock

Many thanks to Luca and the rest of the Similan Diving Safaris crew for taking such good care of all of the divers on board! The food was amazing, the diving was amazing, and everyone was so much fun to be around. I'll be back next time!
