I'm no fan of making combi's. To each their own dive is the motto. But when it comes to a video I guess I can make an exception ;-)
And those who know me know I'm no fan of diving with large groups either. But diving with the group of 6 of Gerrit Versteeg and Danielle Werther was just awesome. I gave them a good briefing and they took the advise well. Result was a 96 minute dive that went all the way to the right, all the way to the left side and then some! I was able to show them a shit load of cool stuff. From a tiny Yellow Lined Flat Worm, cool looking Scorpion fishes, Buffalo Trunk fish, Sharks, Dog-, Mutton- & Cubera Snappers, a bunch of different Morays, an array of neat juveniles to 7 different species of Shrimps! We also used our big group to our advantage by fanning out in a row and herd all the Tarpon to the back of the 'hole'!! Talk about density! Wow :-p Well done guys. Thanks for listening!!
And Friday's dive with the Riedy brothers.... Always a good time diving with them! Lots of cool stuff too. But I was particularly pleased with the clip I was able to shoot of the Yellow Fin Grouper. I have been seeing him for months. But he is very shy. Which I think is a good thing or one day he will fall victim to some stupid @ss spear fisher guy!! First time I could 'catch' him in his full glory. I just love the coloring on these fish. Just like Marble.
Ended with a beer and goat soup at the Divi divi bar. Good times! Thanks again!
