Best Scuba Diving in the World, Cozumel, Mexico: Palancar Caves Wall, Part II (GoPro HD-1080p)

This site is the continuation of Palacar Caves, closer to Palancar Bricks. The reef slopes outward to the reef edge and deeply convoluted lip. The corals form tall towers, spires and buttresses, caves, gullies and canyons. Deep fissures run under the corals and sand slopes plummet into the depths. There are countless caves and canyons along this stretch of reef.

Palancar Reef is a large coral reef located on the southwest side of the island of Cozumel and is part of the Arrecifes de Cozumel National Park. The site is very popular with scuba divers and is divided into several sections based on depth & coral formations. Palancar is considered one of the best dive sites in the world. Dive depths range from 50 to 110 feet, with coral swim-throughs located in many places.
