SCUBA diving adventure in the Caribbean Sea & Eating like a local in Honduras

A couple weeks ago, I had the privilege of going to the gorgeous island of Roatán, off the coast of Honduras.

From snowy and freezing NYC to warm and sunny Honduras, it would've been an awesome trip regardless. But added to that: I went SCUBA diving for the first time!! It was amazing and gorgeous. I want to get my SCUBA certification now.

My favorite adventure buddy, Connor, brought along his GoPro to capture our excursion 60 feet under water.

I need to give a shout-out to Denisse at Clearwater Adventures in Roatán. She is an amazing SCUBA instructor and I highly recommend her!! If you're ever in Roatán, you've got to look her up and go for a dive :)

The fun didn't end with diving, though. I had THE BEST meal there, too! A local woman brought us into her home and prepared a home cooked meal that was not only authentic, but downright scrumptious.
